 PRESS ROOM

The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, presented by Shop 'n Save welcomes members of all media to our website and hope you attend and enjoy our events.
Schenley Park - July 21/22
Our event at Schenley Park is free to the public so while there is no need to obtain a press pass for admission we ask that you register at the Press Table on the front porch of the Schenley Park Golf Course Clubhouse. This way we know who is covering our event and can provide you with Press Pass lanyard and a press kit.

Registration The Press Table at Schenley Park is open from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM all weekend. Steve Weber is our On-Site Media Director for the event at Schenley Park. He is available to answer questions on his cell at 412 596-6852.

Parking and Electricity Because of limited space we can only provide parking for prequalified media.  Simply pull into the clubhouse parking lot and ask for John Kerr - he will instruct you where to park. If you need electrical power to broadcast John can place your vehicle on the golf course below the clubhouse where there is adequate space for you to set-up. Electricity is available, but phone lines are not accessible.

Hot Passes The hot pass is a wristband that permits you passage inside the snow fence (hot zone) to photograph the races close-up. You must present your press credentials at the Press Table and sign our agreement to receive a hot pass wristband. Media must have experience working around race tracks and corner workers to qualify.
